That sucks dude. Sorry to hear it.

I know your truck was empty but, was the drunk injured? Did the cops take him/her to jail? Was your truck parked all the way on the street or was it already part way in the grass?

Oh, a "company van". That could be a help to you if it's a decent company. Not like take advantage but, at least maybe not some fly by night deal.

I'm guessing, if it's not his company, he may have some employment issues???

So the mailbox got the back of your truck?

Its a decent company, definitely not a small business. I wont put it on here. You know I never looked what the mailbox did, ill have to go look tomorrow at the yard.

Sumbitch! Drunk drivers suck. Penalties still aren't harsh enough to end this kind of crap. At least no one was injured, or worse killed.
    :sorry: That just sucks.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Wow, sorry about the truck. Glad it was your parked truck and not an occupied vehicle or someone out walking.

That really blows man! Sorry to hear. My new to me ('11) taco is a week old today, and I'm still nervous taking it out.
Here's the good parts of your ordeal.

    Your not dead or injured.
    He was caught, arrested.
    He has insurance.

Maybe you can get book value from that companies insurance and then take them to small claims court for a little extra to cover aggravation, time, and any self-installed extras.

    Good luck.

I'm gonna say he's unemployed...probably before he sobers up enough to understand he's unemployed. More than likely not a first time offender, so he's probably facing some jail time. DUI penalty needs to be jail time first time. That's the only way to discourage it...and even then there will be idiots among us.
