I just traded my old 2006 Tacoma for a 2011. I loved my OTTONAVI radio with navigation, bluetooth, and huge backup camera monitor. Now, my new Tacoma comes with the JBL hands free and satellite radio system (external amplifier), so I cannot use the OTTONAVI unit. I'll see if I can sell it, as it's awesome.

Now I would like to know if it's possible to use the 2013-2014 OEM navigation system on my truck.
    1. Are the connectors the same as mine?
    2. Would it be capable to display the back up camera image?
    3. Would the phone steering controls and bluetooth work with it?
    4. Is it compatible with the JBL amplifier?
    5. What part number is it?

By the way, I'll sell the old unit to the best offer.

    Thanks a lot

I'm pretty sure since you have the JBL system it is plug and play.

i am not sure on taco's, but in the past it has always been a pain pulling a oem unit from 1 vehicle and putting into another because of that security code junk. again not sure on these, but alot of nav units let you use a cd to create a 'security' lock, maybe try doing that before removing the unit from the original truck.

or you could do like i did, i was kinda the same way when i bought mine,i liked the nav in my lexus better, so i did some research and found fujitsu made the one i wanted, then toshiba actually sold them and in the US they were sold under the 'eclipse' branding, with a few wiring adapters it works, so maybe see if you can find out the true manufacturer and get the same unit, just not a 'toyota' unit, if that makes sense. as far as the amp, not sure, i ripped the amp and speakers out, grinded down the back wall, and put new amps and speakers in the first day i had it :)

    cheers,
    disco
