3" lift, new tires?

    Hi im new to TW, I just got a 09 trd sport dc :D. I was wondering if i need to get new tires if i get a 3" lift?? im mostly going for looks and a nice ride, not planning on going off-roading or anything. please help!

    New truck....so nothing yet
    It depends on how you want it too look but a wider tire may give you more stability with the lift.

    Am I correct with this fellas??

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    u dont 'need' to get new tires b/c of a lift, but a 3" lift on stockers will make the tires look dinky. hell, a 3" front and back lift on mine makes my 32" tires look dinky

    I say, at minimum.... go with at least 285/65/18!
