I have a 1 1/2 year old LG phone w/ BlueTooth (I know it works cuz I've had an earpiece paired-up before), but it won't recognize my '09 truck and my truck won't recognize it...

Went to Verizon today and they updated the software on my phone, and it still won't work...

If I have to get another phone, I want to make sure it will work, so if you have Verizon service, please let me know which phones support the factory BlueTooth...

PS - They did not have any demo phones and told me to check the manufacturer of my truck's website...

my piece of crap sprint phone works with it, my wife did it for me, i was about to brake the damn thing when she took over, take it to the dealer and see if they will do it, or read the instructions over and over and follow it. I have no patients for this kind of stuff. fyi it sounds great and feels great not to have that damn thing in your ear.

Neither the dealer nor the Verizon people could get my phone to link up to the truck...

Which Bluetooth set up do you have in your truck? Is it the Blu Logic? If so, you can find a list of proven compatible phones here- http://blulogicupdate.com/
Do you have a blue tooth button? If so, where is it located? I've ordered the Blu Logic kit but am debating where to put the button.

    Thanks

It's an accessory. The one I'm installing won't work with JBL or NAV- I'm guessing those head units aren't compatible.

The JBL systems and the BluLogic systems are incompatible. The BluLogic systems only work with base model audio systems.

It's not the BluLogic system then. It's the bluetooth that comes with the JBL system.

Can anyone confirm if the Google (HTC) Nexus One is compatible? Hate to be the test-case. The Blulogic site doesn't say,
