Trailer Brake Controller Mounting

    Here are some pics of how I mounted my cheap Reese trailer brake controller in my Taco. This is the little change pocket on lower right side of the steering wheel if equipped (and I don't mean the steering wheel). Also yes I know I'll get "dogged" for using course thread screws which are sticking out the bottom, but eventually I'll switch them over to 2 small domed bolts with nuts on the pocket side.

    Just starting...
    And that little change drawer thing is inexpensively replaced if the truck is sold. Kind of a permanent mount it looks like.

    The P3 is supposed to be mounted parallel to the direction of travel. I don't know if I can mount it to a non-square drawer like that. But perhaps I just have to mount it straight up into the plastic of the dash.
