2nd Gen Ditch Light Brackets

No issues at all man. Clears just fine with my 2.5" leds.

 

I use them strictly off road. With my HIDs I blind enought people as it is. As far as cops I've not been pulled over yet.

 

Same here. Brackets leave lots of clearance. Passenger side wiper needs to be lifted over the bracket if you need to flip it up for whatever reason.
Been thinking of making some rods and cables to put on the CBI brackets to use as limb-lifters. May need Nathan to design some brackets for the front corners of the hood (hint hint)

 

How are you supposed to aim them? Forward in line with top of headlights? To the side at a 45 degree angle?.....

 

Let me know on vibration!! My desert design baja fuegos have a little too much vibration on the famous fabs. His bracket is great but mounting under the hood create that vibration. With your brackets mounting to the truck might be a lot more sturdy.

 

It really just depends on where you need more light I've seen some guys point them straight out the sides

 

What vibration are you talking about? The hood,fenders or lights? anyway, I have not seen any vibration from any area, everything fits together solid.

 

No vibration.
I'm running a 30" bar, and D2 spots on the brackets. Pointed the spots out about 10* and they fill in the sides of the road nicely.
Actually this setup is pretty obscene, def not street legal. And fantastic on Alberta backroads.

It may have already been covered, but is anyone running an aux fuse box with these brackets? Seems like there might be some interference.

 

Mine came in last week along with a set of Rigid Duallies. Can't wait to get time to install them. Brackets are great quality, real nice looking product. Much beefier than I expected. Shipping only took a couple days.

 

How would these brackets interfere with an auxiliary fuse box?

These brackets mount under the plastic cowl cover, right below the wind shield I've not seen any auxiliary fuse boxes mount where these brackets do but maybe there is. Not sure.

 

They do not interfere with aux box...I will try to take pic tomorrow.

Nope. Mine are sitting in the box but you just have to trim the plastic cowling piece referenced earlier.
