    Hey all,

I've been looking at XTerras and the Foresters, but today was passed by a beautiful 4-door 05+ Tacoma and this got me thinking. I have a couple of questions and I hope this is the right section of the boards. I'm going to do some searching around but thought asking would be best.

I'm limited to about 18k and have already seen some 4door models in this price range. Are they available with sunroofs, and are they available with the six speed manual? If I go with the automatic, really, how much gas mileage am I going to be losing out on? And do they require premium?

I am going to be using my next vehicle as a daily driver, but it'll be pulling duty as a camping rig during the summer as well... And I was so stunned by how good the one that went by looked in blue, I just had to hop on here and register and ask about 'em! Thanks guys!

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    welcome....

sunroofs were/are a dealer option and not too many have them
yes there is a 6spd manual
the auto actually gets better mileage from everyone i've talked to
and no premium is required, but i run it anyways

They are not available with a sun roof as far as I know, but several members here have added them on with great results. I have an 08 4WD with the V-6 and the automatic. I use this as my daily driver and love it. It gets about 22-24 MPG if you take it easy. I hope this helps.

Wow, you guys are fast... I've been searching, feel silly that there was a auto/manual MPG thread on like page 2, but I was too excited at posting... Haha, thanks for being kind!

And that blue looked just like yours, so it must've been? Absolutely gorgeous.

Well, wow, looking at the prices on Craigslist and Autotrader...maybe this is the vehicle for me. I WANTED a Toyota, but figured all the good stuff was out've the price range I was willing to spend. Come to find out, they're not. Well, it does seem like I'm mostly finding 2WD 4doors in my price range...but maybe just have to keep hunting for that right 4WD.

Thanks everyone! I'm betting you'll be seeing a lot more of me!
