I'm loving my 2010 TRD dual cab. We have gotten some recent snow and I'm curious what the common consensus is on these two topics:
1. Do you keep the cargo cover on or take it off. I could see that the added snow/sleet/ice could add weight we wouldn't want on the cover. Also, the added weight of snow/sleet/ice in the bed (assuming you didn't store anything in the bed), could assist with traction.
2. Speaking of traction - do you put additional weight into the bed to assist with traction. I know bags of salt and sand used to be common; is this still done?
Thus far, I have the cover on, and the bed is empty. I just switch it into 4WD if I needed additional traction, and that's been fine thus far.
