Entune Radio Plus Weather Problems

Looking for feedback ....

My 14 Tacoma consistently displays the wrong weather and never pulls from my city. I can change it to Las Vegas only if I select "recent" locations. However, when I power-off, the settings are lost. I've fiddled with the settings and there are no options to select a specific location.

I am in Las Vegas yet the weather displays Barstow California. Barstow is approximately 151 miles from here.

A Toyota Entune support technician told me that the EntunePlus uses HD Radio relays for weather, that there must be a relay in BarstowCalifornia that services Las Vegas. He also told me that it may be that LasVegas is not a “major metro area” - that Barstow is …

Is anyone else having problems with the "plus" displaying weather nowhere close to where you are?

 

This system is crap. No HD radio signal at all in my area. I miss the old set up.

 

I have a lot of HD radio in my area - too bad the head thinks I am 151 miles from Vegas.

 

I'm also in Las Vegas and mine will do that as well. The system does not update immediately. Are you checking it right as the Truck starts? I notice if I let it update the traffic and maps that it displays the correct city.

 

Mine does the same thing, regardless how long I wait it is almost always 100 miles off but I can always choose my location if I go through the hassle of doing it.
I only have to live with it until there is a harness adapter avail for the 2014, then I am all in for an aftermarket HU!

 

Same here, I live in Arcadia, but it gives me Pasadena weather, will never give me Arcadia. Go figure, at least that about 10 apart unlike Barstow and LV.
