So I pulled the trigger on a 2007 Tacoma today. And so far I have fallen in love with it.

    Here she is!

    Plans for her....

I want to give it a small lift. Once these tires wear out replace them with some 31's or 33's, not sure on which brand.
Some slight engine work, CAI and some other bolt ons.
Nothing too crazy...at least not till the mod bug bites me haha ;)

Nice truck. Put gas in it, drive it, and smile. You made a good choice.

I spent a good amount of time under it before buying. Obviously not rust free, but suprisingly it was good. Light amounts on the frame. Is there some sort of coating I can put on to keep it with only light rust?

    Getting there...
My truck is originally from GA, then went to NJ where I got it. Now we're in CO. It's got a bit of rust, but pretty good for an 09. I plan on crawling under it one day to wire wheel whatever I can off. I also bought Rust Encapsulator, Internal Frame Coating, and Extreme Chassis Black paint all from Eastwood. I'll hit particularly bad spots with the encapsulator, and use their paint prep and chassis black over wherever got rust brushed off or needs paint.

A lot of guys here recommend using Fluid Film as a year to year (twice a year?) insurance to keep away rust.
