Good price on tonneau?

Hey guys, I have been wanting a tonneau cover since I got my tacoma in September. The girlfriend wanted to get me something nice for Xmas so I looked into getting one.


Local truck accessory place has them STARTING at $249 installed.
I can get it through work $291 after discount and shipping (over priced)
Most of them online are $210-250

Found a New in box Genesis 90085 with a messed up box on ebay for $169 or best offer.

Tossed them an offer of $150 on the 21st and it arrived to me today and it's ready to go on!

Good deal? I think I made out ok and saved the gf a few bucks. I don't care about the box being damaged, I just shredded it to get to the goodies anyway!

 

As long as it still came with all the pieces undamaged, good price.

 

That seems like a decent grab to me. I got the truxsport on mine and its great, but was around $230 shipped.

 

All came out good!
a few of the bars had a scratch on them but this was probably from manufacturing/shipped. It was never installed, included all pieces and went together easy besides being like 15 degrees out and trying to stretch a huge piece of fabric by hand in the cold.
