    I always wonder what the deciding factor is on whether tacomas have them. I see people with them that look like the type of person to modify their vehicles and some people who do not modify their vehicles. I cant figure it out but i wish i had them. Im concerned with overheating if i add them though.

    On the US trucks, I think it's only the base models that don't get them.

    My 2013 SR5 has them on the light switch... first click drl (front turn signal lamps), second click parking lamps (rear lights and front corners and all dash lights dim for night mode), last click headlights. I usually leave my drls off unless it's cloudy, dusk, or dawn. Otherwise off to stretch out the life of the bulb

    My DTRL's are on everytime my truck is moving and the bulbs have been fine for over 5 years

    Yep, the bulbs on our 2009 pre-runner are fine and have not been changed. It's the melting of the lens however that need attention.

    That cant be true unless i have the only 06 sr5 trd sport prerunner without them.

    I think standard DTRL started in 2009. I've been in an 08 OR and it didn't have it.
