    get a tacoma, put a shell on it.

    adds weight for snowy conditions/place for your dog to stay out of the elements in.

    and you can remove it and you have a truck, not an SUV...

    Both are excellent rigs. You have to decide which one best suits your needs. No one can really do that for you. Whichever rig you get, invest in dedicated Winter tires if you are going to be driving on snow and ice on a daily basis. IMHO

    I do this too! Cept most of what I pick up is scrap metal. Washers, stoves, water heaters, grills, fridges, mowers, etc... #1 reason why I got a truck and not a 91 Honda CRX, because if I got that Honda, I would have no way to pick up large scrap metal.
    Most of my furniture and cool stuff are things I found on the side of the road. My bed, my desk, my TV, my closet box, etc... and that's just what's in MY room! You won't believe what rich people throw out. Save a lot of money just by going through their castoffs.
