Been wanting to do this for a while and finally had the time during the holiday to pull it off.

When I saw fafafahey's leather interior it started me thinking that my butt gets pretty cold too.

After researching where the local dealers get their leather interiors (if not factory) I found that Classic Soft Trim does the vast majority around South Western PA.

    http://www.classicsofttrim.com/index.php

Made a call to them and spoke with Ray Bedner (ray.bedner@classicsoftrim.com) who is the GM there. Turns out he also has a Tacoma and was able to share some of his pictures of his leather interior. After going through literally tons of different combinations he steered me towards a combination of colors and stitching that really looks great (IMO..).

Install time was about 7 hours and I was able drop off in the morning and pick it up late afternoon.

Fit and finish look great. The leather will tighten up a bit over time when the weather gets warmer. Very soft and the heaters are fantastic. He could also do cool air as well, but that's a bit overboard for the area.

The seats are covered for the life of the vehicle too.

Logos turned out great and I could not be happier with the quality and workmanship. Door panels match the seats too.

    Happy New Year!

Those look great! I love the personalization of the embroidery.

I installed Calzzio covers a little over a year ago. Not real leather (PVC), but I love my Clazzio covers for a fraction of the cost. These are pics from when I installed them. They have molded to the seats great!

Glad to provide some inspiration! 2 year anniversary for my seat heaters this week and still keeping my butt and back warm - this mod is better than my TRD supercharger! Especially in crappy Ohio winters....

See my build page for prices I paid.

I've got the same problem with my kids complaining in the back. I tell them to put their feet under the front seats and maybe some heat will drift down!:D

    Everything went through Classic.

We went back and forth via text on style and colors. He has a great looking Tacoma with all black and red stitching leather seats. I really liked it, but wanted something closer to factory colors. My final selection was close to what he suggested. In the end I took his suggestions with colors and the stitching. Figure he's been doing this a lot longer than I have. I'm attaching a pic of his interior.

Rode all day today doing a grocery run, kid run, another wine and spirits run...and I can't tell you how much I enjoy these over the stock TRD seats. It's also like 20 degrees here so the heaters really make a difference.

Their Katzkin's and Classic installed them. Classic orders them from Katzkin.

It pays to have them installed by a interior pro. Seen a lot of self installs on here, that look like shit.

Same price here in MN $1600.00 with install, with heat.

I asked the same question. Classic said the seats (and they have the air bag tag...granted you could easily add that..) are air bag compliant and the warranty card they gave me states that they meet OEM on the air bag on the seats.

They go so far as saying if a tear occurs on the edge of the seat "Do not place anything over the airbag placement". That's on the warranty card that I received when I got the truck.

They have been in business for a long time doing factory leather interiors so I'm thinking/hoping the statements are true.
