I did CMC the added caster from TC UCA s pushed the tires too close to the mount. I'm running TC ucas, billies, 885x coils, taco lean spacer, Dakar rears with b110 rear shocks, 285 70 17s
Oh and mild trimming of course .
    Thanks

You have to mod the spare tire spot to fit a 285, correct?

    Stock coils, 5100s @ 2.5".

285/70/17 w/ 0.75" spacers and TRD sport rims.

Only trimming I had to do was the little plastic cups that stick out on the bottom of the front of the wells. Took off mudflaps before I put the 285s on. Otherwise the only rub is what's left of where I cut and at full lock in reverse.

How much of a reduction in gas mileage did you all get when you went to 285s?

    (i.e. 18mpg on stock tires to 15mpg on 285s)

    Wrecked!

Im thinking it wont fit you will rub on the rear diff, exhaust pipe is in the way,and tow hitch all will be in the way. I had a 245/75/17 undermine with no mods to brackets but it would hit the diff when flexing the rear.

Caster at 3.5 degrees with TCs. Lots of cutting/trimming, banging pinch welds, CMC, and still rubbing on more plastic with sway bar removed. The plastic cutting continues..

Nice. As long as it drives fine right? I bet you will get more rubbing after the UCAs

I'm running a 2.5" lift in the front with 5100s on stock sport springs. I was able to get 1.7 caster, and I'm running stock off-road wheels with 1". Bora spacers all around. I had to take off my mudflaps but did not have to do any trimming at all. Also running a 1.5" block in the rear.

These are 285s, yes? I'll be going back to my stock 16s and staying with 285s here shortly. I've got the same lift as you, but I think my BORAs are 0.75". After going back down to 0 on the Billies and adding OME886s (with 3/8" and 1/4" TP spacers), new UCAs, and a TJM...I wonder if the difference btw me needing a CMC will be the 0.25" difference in wheel spacer. Looks like you have plenty of wiggle room to stuff those tires. And I should have more height than I do now.

Yes, they're 285/75s. To be honest, I don't think the lift is the issue with rubbing. I think it's the wheel offset/backspacing/width. I searched on here for months debating lift, wheels and tires, and no one I found with this combo had any issues. Granted, I haven't fully stuffed them as I don't do any serious off-roading, but I've been out in the woods to hunt, and wheeled in the mud a bit and I haven't rubbed once. My mudflaps did have to go, but that's it. No trimming at all and I don't rub at full lock in forward or reverse.

Edit: I think your caster will play a part in it too.
