How often do you guys swap your air filters? Assuming no dusty off-road runs

As the particulates in the air very by time of year, weather, and region.

I change mine between 10, 000 and up. I check it often, and when its dirty, I replace it.

I don't change mine. I simply wash it out, let dry, and reinstall with the AFE Pro Dry.

I'll change it when I feel like it... :)
Air filter is inexpensive but the cabin filter is like $40 or more!

Which side of the filter does the dust and stuff collect in relation to the way it's put in? on the top or the bottom?
