    Lots of little seed pods (whirlybirds is what we call them) in the filter. I dumped most out before I shot the pic, but still some there.

    Sorry - forgot to mention that I DID replace it. Bought a TYC off Amazon for about $7. Seemed nearly identical to the OEM.
