storage compartment

whats up guys i just wanted to share that i added 2 small locks to one of the small storage comp. in the back of the bed...dont know if anyone else cares about it but it was real easy..just went to the home depo and got 2 5/8in long desk drawer locks that came with different size arms, had to use the longer one and bend it a little to fit the slot in the compartment...had to drll out the stock whole a little on the door to get the lock to fit snug..the lock comes with a nut to back down and tighted it in the whole but i couldnt get it started...its in there tight already but i think im going to put some epoxy or jb weld on the back to help keep them in there... what do yall think..

Great idea!! Looks good. Might just do that with the small box but I'm planning on getting this http://trdparts4u.com/PD-TUFFY-161-01.aspx?MakeID=1 for the big box. It's alot more but this box goes in and down to give you even more storage.

if there is room for several hundred oil threads, we definitely have room for good DIY posts that may or may not be repeats.

Thanks for posting.

I've been thinking of doing this for surfing.. So i dont have to take my nice expensive key in the water, i could just take a dinky little key in, and if it dissapears i could always break the box.

but yah, good on ya! We all have the Mod Bug

I heard those box covers are hellah expensive. You might be better off breaking a window.
