LB to SB conversion?

The "bob it" comment was obviously a joke, you would lose bed space and still have the long wheel base so it would be pointless.

 

He WANTS a long bed.
He found a short bed and wants to put a long bed on it.

I disagree... The thread title is Longbed to Shortbed conversion... Additionally he indicates that he found a truck with everything he wants EXCEPT a short bed, meaning it has a long bed.

This says to me he wants a longbed. Although, the title says LB to SB Both can be done, but its spendy. Guys do long bed conversions on dodge mega cabs all the time.

Regardless, sure... with enough money, anything can be done.

But it's going to require cutting and lengthening or shortening the frame, and changing the driveshaft.

 

Want a short bed for more clearance just to clear things up, not sure what "bob" it means but I think I'll hold out for a SB and put the extra money towards some mods
