Found a set of sliders in my local classifieds today. Got in touch with the seller to get some pics and this is what he sent. I am not going to buy them as I am looking for something different but was interested in the design. Anybody know who makes this type. I saw a set on a 4runner once but never on a Tacoma. The seller thought they were smittybuilt but that didnt seem right. Sorry about the crappy cell pic.

They look thin and kinda flimsy - unlike anything I've seen in aftermarket products.

They might be a DIY home-built set. Anyone with a welder, cutting tools, and some metal tube can make these things.

Look similar to my Demello bolt-on round sliders.

I had seen yours before and wondered if they were the same. Did you like those? It seems like they would be less effective and weaker than most of the other designs out there.

They have held up very well for the 7 years that they have been on. The only thing I would change is to get some sort of kick out on them. This video doesn't really show their strength but they do their intended purpose.
