    Same as others I grease mine every oil change. front DS u-joint closest to transfercase is a bitch to get at, I usually get grease all over, PITA.

    Being on the road I had Walmart do an oil change for me. They claimed to have greased four out of the five zerks. I'm guessing they missed the front drive shaft since I have the BudBuilt skids on it.

    $55 with Mobil1 regular synthetic/Fram filter. The dopes did manage to lose the nipple under the oil filter pan. My fault, I should have told them to make sure to NOT lose it, or took it off myself beforehand. To their credit, they did know to put a catch can underneath . . . .

    I think lithium-based is typically what you get with grease gun inserts. It's not the white lithium that you see so much, but a darker brown color or gray. What the difference is between the white and the darker color I see from my gun inserts, I don't know . . .

    Alright so any lithium grease will do? Does Toyota have any sort of spec?

    Greased 'em all up nice. I finally had time to do the 4x4 ones. The one second in from the front of the truck was the hardest. A bit of ninja skills and I got to it without removing the plate. Thanks again for the info!
