    05's no TMPS:amen:

05-06 TRD pkg seats are narrower. Fits like a glove for some, but big folks were on the side bolsters.

    Not much really till 09'

Oh yeah no TPMS in the 05! Demon you are so darn lucky that is my challenge right now since I ran my steelies w/ winter tires for the first time this season & picked up a set of stock alloys for the summer. :(

OT, the 09s no longer have a sensor in the spare fwiw.

Here is a snippet from Edmunds.com on the 09:

    What's New for 2009
For 2009, all Toyota Tacoma pickups get standard stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, active front head restraints and a limited-slip differential. The standard audio system has also been upgraded, while Access Cab models get a new rear-seat design and standard power windows and door locks.

Suppose there's duct tape over the light... I think there are a few post out here w/ tricks to fool the sensor light. $400 for sensors... f that. Getting to be that time to put the 'summer' wheels back on soon.

07-09 get weak springs, but I don't think that is a upgrade.

From mid-production '06 on the Tacomas got extra reinforcement where the engine mounts weld to the frame.

Not sure. I know it definitely happened on the V6s. And yes on the tailgate reinforcement. Forgot about that one. :)
