High pitch noise behind glove box

    HIDs, TSS 20''s, Pioneer head unit in-dash screen, Tinted tails, De-badged, Foglight mod, Pioneer door speakers, 5100's and rear tsb.
    I know the ac tick and this is different just started happing it's driving me nuts I don't hear it with the key in the on position just in the acc or running I'm thinking something to do with the ac but I turn it off and still hear it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    I used to see this a lot when I was a tech for Toyota. Depending on what gets caught in your blower fan (leaf, pine needle, etc) it could cause a tick or the high pitch whirring noise you are hearing. To remedy, take your a/c filter out and reach your hand into the blower (power off, of course) and see what you find.

    It's not anything stuck in there because I hear it when it's turned off and it's more like an eletrical high pitch noise like when some thing is charging it drives me nuts

    I was having this issue and it was the blower motor going out. I think I found out about the problem on this website or another. Anyway, it was a recall issue on my 2011 and they replaced it free at the dealership. I could try to find the link for you or just google Tacoma blower motor.
