So I got everything all set up, tested the switch before connecting the lights, worked fine. I grounded it so the light functioned on the switch. Routed the wiring down to the reverse lights and hit the switch, light came on for a tiny bit on the switch, and then went out. Everything is dead. I checked the inline fuse, it's still good. Maybe the relay shat itself once the lights actually drew power? I'm lost.

Figured it out, the ground I chose on the sheet metal was good enough for the light on the switch itself I guess, but when it pulled power to turn the actual lights on it wasn't enough. I just ran the ground up to the battery, no big deal.

I'm trying to install the sr-q flush mounts on either the rear bumper or tailgate. Any suggestions?
