Thanks for all your advise guys, I think I came to my senses for now and realize I probably need a double cab for the kids although it was tempting to get that Baja . I did find a white 2012 offroad double cab with only 7000 miles on it for 27000 but it's a private seller and I have a car I'd have to trade off on whatever I get. So for now I'm still looking but will have one soon.

    Do dents and scratches count?
Just get a 2014 SR5 double cab and mod it. You will save a bunch of money and end up with better suspension than an off road. I bought my 2014 SR5 4x4 in October for 28K with entune and the tow package. Its a brand new truck and you can always add those extras you want later. For my money its a much better value than a used truck that you don't know the history of.

Edit: you can also ad a locker if that's what you want the off road for.

Well I think I'm getting one. Leaving for Colorado tonight to look at and possibly get a 2012 double cab, 15000 miles. It is the Baja package but that's not why I chose it, they offered me $5000 more for my trade than anyone around here and the truck is priced the same as everything else that I've looked at. Got my fingers crossed that it's not a pile when I get there. Be back in 2 days with pics if everything goes good.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Go get her. "Not because it's a BAJA"...you're so full of shit. I love it.

Yeah, I'm not fooling anyone. I wouldn't be going that far if it wasn't. Going to try to sleep for a few hours if I can then I'm gone.
