Could someone tell me how to set up a ultra gauge? Do you just plug it in and go or is there a set up that you have to do?

You plug it in and it reads what vehicle you have. Then you make a few choices like motor size and stuff like that. Then you can customize what gauges that are displayed on each page. The whole thing only takes a few minutes but then you don't have to do it again.

A very basic initial set up which is gas tank and engine size. It comes pre set for certain gauages and you can customize it after that how you want it, or leave it as is. It does not come with instructions and you have to down load them off the website, but they are pretty simple to follow. Or you can just click around with it, as its a pretty simple interface to figure out.

it may seem confusing at first, but it is pretty easy to set up...calibrating takes a little time...

it should have come with a fairly thick instruction booklet, if not, you can download a PDF of the booklet from their website, I had to do this as I bought mine used, no instructions....

very handy and informational tool to have....
