So Im looking at the access cab 2014, rather than the double cabs. A friend just got a x2 cab, and it has entune premium. I see my choice will have the chaeper plus without nav, and without the better speakers. I like good sound, but dont know that the plus wont be sufficient. Anyone care to comment?

I think the Premium comes with nav, apps and sub. I have the Plus and have absolutely no complaints - sounds great and is loud-enough for me (i.e. I don't have a need for "curb-thumpin" base, etc.).

I've used it quite a bit and don't have any complaints with it. It certainly wouldn't be a show stopper if I didn't have it, but it works okay for me.

Same; no problems with the Nav. I guess programming an address may either be a little clunky, or I'm just used to yelling an address into my phone and letting it figure out where I'm going. Other than that, it seems to work as advertised.

@ OP I didn't think there was a difference in speakers unless you upgraded to the JBL package, and I thought that was separate? I have Premium w/Nav and no JBL iirc.

I've been trying to order an AC with entune premium for 3 months now and the manufacturer keeps kicking the order back. According to the people I've talked to at the dealership, the percentage of access cabs being made with entune premium are so low it's going to be a challenge for Toyota to accept the order (I still don't understand everything, just that they're hard to find).

I honestly decided that I would just get the entune plus and use the extra 600+ dollars saved by not upgrading to the premium to upgrade the head unit with a pioneer or alpine unit. I'll probably upgrade speakers at the same time.
