Looking at trucks last night a local dealer has a 09 limited rw with 91000 for 23900. Pretty much is the only truck I would trade my beloved Tacoma for. Figuring if they will pay off my Tacoma loan and sell me the RW my payments won't change really and I'll have a 2 year newer truck with 27xxx less miles.

I know the tundra has 4.30 gears anything else y'all can give me for feedback?

I've been looking :) trying to.figure if it's a good deal. I ran a blue book but that was before running the vin and seeing its a limited. It is right at retail for just a sr5 rw.

Seems like (from the pics) you are using the Taco for a work truck? Getting more HP from the Tundra may be the way to go

are you going to take that bed off the tacoma and put it back to stock? because all that aftermarket stuff thats on your truck means nothing to them (maybe you know that maybe you don't just throwing it out there). might be a better option to sell your truck then go buy the RW. plus if you want them to pay off the tacoma then expect 45% of whatever they paid to be tacked on to the price of the RW. at least that's what happens in most cases in Virginia my dad has had 2 tacomas, his wife 2 camrys and a rav4. I've had three tacomas but I never traded mine in I just sold them before getting the next one.

Jake, the Tundra looks sweet but depending on how far your commute is are you ready to give up the difference in MPGs? I love the power and room that the Tundra offers, but I enjoy the MPG and maneuverability of my Tacoma. Just my $0.02, Good luck either way. Aloha!

I dont have the stock bed. Bought the truck like this last April. Around here flatbeds tend to not devalue the vehicle because its so farm based. I do know.I wont get back everything I put in it though. MPG doesnt matter a whole lot to me because I get paid for all my gas via work. Plus my truck gets like 15.5 to 17 which is better than the 13-15 I expect on the RW.

I'd be surprised if a dealer would even take your truck in on trade without the stock bed.

I bought it from the local Toyota dealer with the flatbed on it. Dealers around here, at least locally, in Iowa take flatbeds all the time.

I've never even seen a Taco with a flatbed. Cool though.

I have decided that if I can get it where my payments are roughly the same ill do it for the sake of a 2 year newer truck and 27 thousand less miles. Otherwise ill keep the tacoma.

Decided against tundra. Issues I had with it was the leather they put in was cheap feeling and looking, didn't want to have to deal with 20" rims and finding suitable tires, didn't want to give up my mechanical lsd for a useless electronic one, and with the idea of the trd pro tundra I'll wait and have a tacoma and tundra.

Thanks man. I love it for work, but at the same time I wish I could do some of the stuff you guys do with your trucks. I guess it saves me s little bit of money.
