No sound with power lock

Hi all,
I have a 2014 Tacoma with remote start. When I press the lock button on the fob, the doors lock fine, but there is no sound notification. Horn doesn't sound, but lights flash. I read in the manual that this can be turned on, but it requires a trip to the dealership. I don't want to do that. Anyone know if there is a way that I can turn this feature on? Thanks.

In searching I found how to disable it. Maybe this will help figure it out somehow

That same process turns it back on.

 

This X2. It works like a toggle.

 

Doesn't seem to work with remote start fob.

 

I have a pursuit remote starter, and tried all sorts of efforts to disarm the horn from beeping when I unlock/lock doors. I got the horn not to beep when I unlock the door, but it beeps 4 times when I lock the door. Quite annoying for the neighbors when I get home at 4am
