05-09 taillights

Hello all, I apologize in advance if this has been answered numerous times but i couldnt seem to find an answer. Maybe my search skills are lacking? Anyway....I recently purchased a 2007 Toyota tacoma v6 4x4 double cab TRD off-road. It currently has the all red taillights on them. I looove the TRD sport taillights. My question is will the same year 05-09 tacoma sport taillights fit my off road? Also what about the headlights as well? i like the darker inside of the sport headlights and would like to swap for sports heads and tails. Thank you in advance for any help

 

By sport taillights, do you mean the LED taillights?

 

yes sir. Its the ones with the chromish i guess you would call it center. I have the all reds. And yes they are led

The LED taillights were put on OEM starting from 2009 to present, and they do fit previous year models. I do like them as well, but they're not cheap...

The smoke headlights you are referring to I believe came on the 2010-2011 Tacomas, and they will also fit previous years...

I know they arent cheap, which sucks for such a minor difference. But they are nice. Thank you very much for your help. I was hoping the sport headlights would fit.

 

Ya, it's all the same shit... Most of the people on here do the BHLM (black head light mod) where they paint all the chrome black. It's a pretty popular look, and much cheaper than buying all new headlight assemblies...

You wouldnt happen to know a link to where people are doing an HID retrofit do you? I love the out put of HIDs and that would be something id like to look into.

 

That's a hell of a project my friend. There are a lot of people that do it on here for a fee... But I would pay someone to do it. I had mine done by AsianAnts and they're incredible!

If you decide to do it yourself, that's more of a project than just the BHLM...

 

oh no i would def pay someone to do it. Im a member of acurazine as well and they have someone over there that does the same thing with heads. bakes them pulls them apart and mods them. Asianants you say? I will PM him. I really would love an HID retrofit. Hell while hes at it he can do the BHLM for me.
