Rear e locker question

    Does your rear locker work everytime you push the button, or does it give you hassle sometimes?
    4wd & 2wd responses please!

    mine gives me trouble seems to work when it wants...

    I have never had an issue. As Beavis said, the more you use it the better it works. I did the locker anytime mod and use 2wd locked pretty frequently so no issues so far.

    Same here. I've had both first and second gen Tacomas and they always engaged, but sometimes it took a while. Engage it everytime you hit dirt just to keep everything lubed. Use it or lose it.

    3 inch lift by dealer at purchase
    I had to learn how to engage it. Clutch all the way to the floor before pushing button and totally stopped with gear shift in neutral. If it does not go in right away, which is seldom, I put it in low gear and creep a few feet turning steering wheel back and forth and it goes in.
