Max torque for stock clutch

I am just wondering if anyone knows how much torque the stock clutch in a 06 2.7L can handle. I am looking to get the turbo kit and wondered if I needed to replace the clutch with it

 

Assuming your current clutch is not already heavily worn. I would say as long as you don't shock load the hell out of the thing on a regular basis you should be fine.

Also you can always decide on a clutch after the engine work.


I have no idea about max allowable torque.

 

You have a diagphram style clutch in your truck and plate loading increases as the clutch disc wears down . If driven properly , your clutch actually gets stronger with age .
