can someone put me in contact with this Bob guy. Just found out my 14 doesn't have the temp, or compass and was told that it would by the salesman. The truck has NAV which I could care less about but they are telling me that NAV is better than a regular compass or temp gauge. That being said my wife's camry has the NAV and its all good as long as you're in the major populated area that it's pulling the weather info from. Interested in what it would cost for Bob's mod mirror with home link, compass and temp gauge and having the dealer pay for the mirror and install other wise I am seriously considering walking away from it.

oh yeah,, I broached the lack of a thermometer with my dealer. They told me the HD radio has weather that includes temp and forecast.

    It does... kinda.

It does when you have HD signal. However, my weather is almost always from 15-30mi away.

It's better than nothing, but pretty crappy.

I'm dealing with this issue right now. Dealer told me that the Double Cab sport that they had coming had the temp gauge, compass and home link. Now that I have found out it doesn't they are trying to tell me that the NAV system has the weather temp and compass and it's really better than just a regular old compass and temp. I'm sorry I don't see it that way but they are arguing their point and I'm arguing mine.

I just put in the Gentex mirror with compass and temp. It's well worth the money and the wiring is already there for you.

I don't believe that the 2014 model is plug and play. There is some wiring that has to be run to get the temp gauge to hook up.

Just got 2014 DCSB TRD Sport 4x4 JBL package and it doesn't have a good ambient temp read either.

I get the weather on the app but it shows up with different cities/towns and whatnot. Definitely not as good as an ambient temp and compass would be.

Gb your right the 14 doesn't have the temp sender . I use my ultra guage for that. The gentex does compass, auto dimming and homelink.

    Just another option...

If you get an ultra gauge or scangauge or other such monitor that reads intake air temps...

The intake temp is normally within a couple degrees of ambient
