I dropped my truck off last night and they got it done today.

They 'inspect' the assembly first and determine if the spring kit is needed. My bolts were loose (both sides), so they replaced the spring kit & screws. They had all the parts in-house, which was good.

If its taking them 2 hours....then, they're probably changing out the kits (Versus just an inspection).

Took the truck in on monday for a 5K mile service. Completely forgot about this recall. I'm surprise the service techs didn't even mention it.

Looks like I'll be making a call for an appointment.

I did mine in my driveway. It took 20 minutes. They were not loose. I took the bolts out. Red lock tited them and put it back together. Whenever I can avoid the dealer techs, I do.

Yea, same here...good deal on getting it done.

Do you by chance have a photo/drawing of the hardware you checked and
loc-tited?...I'm confused on which bolts are the potential problem.

    Thanks

Same as the post from "Collins", I think I could manage this myself if I knew exactly which bolts they're talking about...I'm a pretty good mechanic and have a zillion tools! :D

Which bolts are the problem here...please pardon my
ignorance...i haven't had time lately to take the door
panel off and check it myself.

    Thanks.

and sorry to the OP for the slight thread jack.
