    Please bear with me.

    I've used the search process for 20 minutes, but I came up stumped, not
    finding any discussions on this somehow.

    I am from Canada, and have a upper end 2012 Tacoma TRD SPORT DCLB.

    Posted at Toyota.ca, the curb weight of my unmodded vehicle is listed at 4275 lbs.

    The GVWR is listed for my vehicle at 5500lbs. I think the
    USA designation is PRE-RUNNER

    A Daily driver, I also wanted to go offroad. After lurking elsewhere
    and this site, I made immediate purchases ( at around 3000km, or
    1900 miles).

    I know modifying my truck would make a hit on gas, and on me,
    but "IT" was worth it, every penny. Those mods paid for itself in less
    than a year ( another story) and
    modified my vehicle with the following changes:

    front plate bumper plus winch [172 lbs plus 67 lbs];
    rear plate Bumper [ 72 lbs ];,
    Aluminium Canopy, [ 215 lbs];
    Bed Slide, [ 60 lbs];
    Bud Built Skid Plates for long bed [ 200 lbs];
    Bamf Rear Diff skid plate [ 32 lbs];
    Sliders somewhat modified as running boards [188 lbs];
    Added OME suspension Level kit, front to back [+98 lbs];
    5 rims + 285/75/R17 Load rate E BFG T/A KO tires [ +100 lbs];
    3/4" thick Horse Mat for Bed Slide cut to length, [ 68 lbs ];

    And me. 210 lbs

    Went to weight in my vehicle with a 1/4 tank of gas.

    I came in bare at the scales, with just the Truck, my spare tire,
    a tool bag ( 50 lbs ) and me, at 6060 lbs. ( +or- 40 lbs).

    The place I weighed it at is typically +or - 40 lbs out or so.

    I have noticed a gas mileage hit from stock, but I still make do
    better than most V8's and turbo V6's. [ I baby it as much as I can].

    Is there a person here @ TW who has also weighted their after-modified
    vehicle that can me how heavy your trucks are and I can ask you some
    questions about WEAR and TEAR and further maintainace?

    Transmission, bearings, hubs, wheels, rotors, strains to the frame and box with the added weight, possible voiding of the warranty since its clearly
    past it GVWR and daily driver?

    Anything like;

    more frequent changes of oil of tranny?
    places to look for frame strain or damage?
    Do I change the rotors, go with a heavier type, like tundra?
    Change bearings more frequently?

    Anything come to mind, please let me know.

    Thank you muchly
