    hey gang,
Finally got my new third from ECG and when removing the old one i came across something very frustrating.... or maybe I'm just .....

There is a 17mm Allen head that is one of 3 main bolts holding the diff in place.
For some reason it simply spins ( it appears some to be some bushing type material around a bolt with a totally flat head ) on the transmission side

How do i get this damn thing off ? i tried impact, but it simply spins around. The entire thing spins

I did manage to get the diff out but i know that trying to get a diff back in with that damn thing there is gonna be a royal pain in my @ss

I've replaced a few front diffs. I know this bolt you're speaking of, but I don't remember what it threads into. Got any detailed pics?
