Hey everyone, Im in the process right now of deciding on a roof rack or a bed rack system for my truck. I've got an Access Cab so that makes it alittle more difficult (from what ive seen) for roof racks. I want something that looks good, but also functions. I am leaning more towards a roof rack because i want to mount some lights up there.

Ive been looking at the Body Armor Sport Track system, and talked to a couple guys who have it. I only worry that I'd have to remove my tool box.

Anyone who has any ideas please let me know! Also, if the company makes some sliders too that would be a plus :p those are next on my list

Total chaos UCAs, 265/75-16s, BAK rollback tonneau, custom lights and rack.
I put a Yakima rack on my access cab and then built a cage off of it. It worked really well, sorry no pics of it. Right now I'm trying to decide what to do to the roof of my double cab. Also there a thread here somewhere with a guy that cut down a factory double cab roof rack to fit an access cab. Use the search, you'll find it. Very cool.

I may have to look into that, I bet it functions pretty well. How did you mount your rack to the access cab?

    Anyone else have any ideas?

I like the red strip that you added under the slot.

Actually those are some old Yakima cross bars that the rubber coating was coming off. The Load Warrior had a little bounce when going over rough terrain so I cut them to length to fit in between the cleats and painted them red. The Load Warrior is actually what is holding them in place but it keeps everything nice and stable. I debated about the red and considered spraying Speedliner on the bars also but the more I left them on the more they grew on me. Kind of a subtle type thing that you really have to be looking for.

    Hey MROMEO,

We offer a bed rack and sliders :)

For the roof rack on an access cab you will have to drill holes in your cab for mounting since they don't come with factory holes. We are putting a FrontRunner Outfitters SlimLine 2 roof rack on our access cab build this week. They did a custom kit for us - if you're interested just ask for Steve over there and let him know you want the same kit. DEFCONBRIX has the rack on his crew cab truck if you are curious on the look.

Check out our thread on our PackRack and let us know what you think.

Good luck on your search and let us know if there are any questions we can answer for you.

    Cheers!

This is an awesome setup. It almost doubles the capability of our admittedly small beds. Glad I could help.

    Check the build thread.
Sweet set up. All-Pro has a group buy on the PackRack right now - just thought you might be interested in saving some money if you still planned on going that route. Any local welder can weld it up real quick or of course you can have All-Pro do it. It will give you back some of the height you're missing now with a bed rail setup.
