I would like to know is there a UG process for disconecting and reconecting your battery ? 09 taco 2.7 base ; Crazy question I know but ever since I installed this UG and for any reason I disconect my battery it seems I have to cycle turning it off and on and or disconect the UG otherwise my voltage drops to 11.7 and rpms drop to 460 and it has stalled. Perhaps I did not read all the instructions like I should have. One thing for shure it never did that before UG. Hell I even had the alternator bench checked it was ok thank God. Anyone else experienced this. ????? Let me know please. Thanks

Your question isn't making much sense to me.

You are saying since you installed the Ultra Gauge when you disconnect the battery you battery voltage drops to 11.7 volts and the RPM Drops to 460 RPM.

I don't know what you mean by cycling it off and on or disconnect the Ultra Gauge...

See if you can word it a little different.

Disconnecting the battery for 10+ mins resets the ecu and everything

Once you reconnect it the computer needs to go through all the sensors and checks it does so aka your rpms are low, voltage low and yea can cause the truck to turn off

(Mine does this about every so often after reseting the ecu)
It just something it does to get all the systems back up and running should go away after driving a good 7-15 miles or so
