Gauging interest - RCI Armor GROUP BUY

I will likely buy an alum. transmission skid to go with the RCI IFS skid I already have.

 

I finally got around to checking out the website. I can say I will atleast pick up one skid but possibly multiple depending on group buy prices. Very stoked.

 

I'm interested in at least a front skid, if not tranny & transfer case.

 

I just wanted to offer my experience with RCI and thank everyone here at TW for the wealth of information on this site. I purchased a full set of powder coated aluminum skids (Front, Transmission, Transfer Case & Fuel Tank) from Josh at RCI back in November and wanted to say the quality, fit and finish all exceeded my expectations. I am very pleased with his products and his customer service. If anyone would like more information or pictures pm me and I'll be glad to help.

If you have them, I'd like to see a profile shot of the skids installed on the truck. I'm interested to see how they attach to the middle cross member. It appears there is a spacer there that will keep the skids from tucking up higher.

You would increase the likelihood of sales if your broadened your product base to include the 1st gen Tacoma. I see zero products on your website for us.

 

Sure why not! I will give you the same deal, but on the website it will only apply to Tacoma products so you will have to give us a call.

Can you use the tcase skid without the transmision skid?

(oh and to the post above, yes the T-case plate will work just great without any of the other plates, provided you have the exhaust re-route.)
