So I have the standard head unit in my 2012 Tacoma with XM. If I pick up a used touchscreen model, is the XM module separate from the head unit? Meaning somewhere in my truck is the XM module and I would just plug it into the new touchscreen?

Yeah, I am wanting to know the same thing. I believe our XM module is under the backseat, so should just use the cables coming from that??
