Hopefully, we'll be able to buy the black plastic part of the grill separate from the painted part. I also hope it doesn't turn out like the Trail Teams FJ wheels with the VIN issue.

I remember a few years ago my cousin worked on an advert campaign for Toyota. She said they pitched these Japanese Toyota execs their idea of a Tundra flying over things and when they were done the execs looked quizzically at them and said "but trucks cannot fly."

They're just a conservative auto manufacturer. I don't think it's fair to expect something crazy out of them.

That being said I was already planning on buying those rims and I want that grill.

Tires didn't look like BFG's like the specs said, and saw they went up to 75 sidewalls. What I liked the most is they got rid of the stickers and stamped the badge on the side. The Tundra 18in wheels I hate, they had a good performance wheel/tire combo with the forged 17's and AT's on the rock warrioir and now they have 18's with Michelin mall tires, step down in off road performance.

I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but in the press release video at the very beginning when the Vice President comes out and starts talking about breakfast, you can see the Tacoma behind him looks like it has a black interior. That's new.

Tundra has a unique black interior. Tacoma has the standard TRD Seats with the gray fabric.

If the Toyota execs ever read this... I'll trade you 6 Cup holders for a decent leaf pack. Hell, how about a rear view mirror that won't cause me to kill someone cuz I can't see out my windshield.
