That was pretty crazy. The way that tacoma just whipped and bucked I would think something was about to break.

None at this time and that's just what I wanted a stock used truck to start with
Good video but if Duramax had aired down truck and trailer he would not have needed a pull

Pretty bad a** taco but I feel like the only reason it pulled it out, was because it got on some pavement.

Exactly. Supercharger didn't do squat to pull that truck out. It was the traction from the highway. In fact I would even say that had they been stuck on sand. The S/C would have hurt the chances of pulling it out. As the S/C provides a lot more torque in lower RPMs and torque + sand = stuck.

Snatch strap is essential if you're in sand all the time I would think. Not a tow strap. Big difference.

Oy. I'd have a careful check of that chassis afterward. Those crew cab Duramax trucks are around 7000lbs empty! I know: I have one. They're not featherweights by any stretch.

i wouldnt say a lot as it is a linear increase based on rpm. if it was a turbo, then yes. buku torque down low.

the chevy with all it's snazzy lift and pretty wheels and tires didnt do squat in this case. it almost looked like his tires were worn down. he should have aired down, then again worn tires like that wouldn't have done squat.

SuperChargers Kick ass! but that stuck truck just needed some forward momentum it was not towed as dead weight either. and aired down 4wd toyotas in the sand handle really well and are out there getting alot of people unstuck. supercharged makes them even more fun.

Oh yeah I have the supercharger too.
    Kids dont do it!

exactly. the little toyo "assisted" with getting the big boy unstuck. lesson learned? Don't park 10,000 lbs in sand and expect to easily get out with a weekend hauler :p

Damn, doesn't look like the Taco has a lift (stock) and is it just me, or was he doing that in 2WD? That's a good pull!

Let's not forget about the fact that the Duramax is connected to a good size travel trailer!!

The trailer with small thin tires and the truck not aired down. Looks good even then.

I lived in NH a long time ago. An 18 wheeler was stuck over a "small" ice hill (8-10") between the two drive wheels as it was trying to enter a parking lot. My Suzuki Samurai pulled it just enough so one of the live axles could grab tar. Hey, Snatch-Um Straps, they work.

Anything other than that small bit of ice and it would not have worked. The tractor just needed a bit more movement and that's all the Samurai could do.
