2014 TRD Pro grill

Just came out the dealer ship I ordered my grill today should arrive Tuesday the sales rep tried ordering it with the part number toyota has provided but could not use that part number, he typed in the vin number of a tundra tweeted the numbers a lil and was able to order trd pro grille for a tacoma Ill see how I like it if not it's going for sale on the 2gen market

No not the tundra grill tweaked the part number was tweaked the part number toyota gives is not valid yet
retail price was 499 I got it for 435 with a 20% discount

So just an update...

A contact I was dealing with thru a dealership got in touch with me on Friday. They have a grill in stock. It is the TRD part number listed here, to my knowledge.

It isn't a complete grill. It's only the black plastic portion which comprises the center grill design and the actual structure of the grill itself. It does not include the cosmetic half which is painted or chrome. That said, price was $500. I opted to pass. That's just way too much for some plastic. I originally thought it would be a complete grill, so I could take it apart, switch the painted portions, then have a complete grill to re-sell and make some $$ back. Not so much in this case. I'd still have to carefully take mine apart, but then I'd be left with nothing to re-sell.

Also seeing how the Tundra grills, complete, are selling in the $300 range... I'll hold off for a more cost effective connection.

That's so wierd my sales rep tried that part number and it didn't work for him

 

That grill isn't worth $50 much less $500. I have to chalk up its popularity on its newness and nothing else because its nothing special.
