Entune update for 2014 NAV Radio

Any idea if the 2014 Nav radio can be updated via USB? I found an article on Toyota Nation but it seems to allow the update on the non-HDD radios via USB. I can't use the app as I am in Canada. I can always see if the dealer can do it. I got one of the radios from FLTrucks.

 

The 2014 radio updates on its own when you have it hooked up to your phone. No need for a USB plug in.

 

Unfortunately in Canada there is no ability to get the Entune App to allow the connection to the phone. App is only available in the US.

 

I'm also interested in this.. why don't they have entune in canada. It's retarded.

 

How about something like unblock-us.com

I use this when I'm streaming hockey. NHL Game Center blacks out Blackhawks games because I'm in IL so I use unblock-us and it works like a dream.

 

I was able to get an entune account and get the app on my phone but it won't connect.... I believe it's because i was sold the Canadian spec 2014 nav head unit which I've since heard has entune disabled. It's either that or its smart enough to know my phones on a Canadian network.

 

I can't get the entune app at all. Apple doesn't show it in the App store for me.

 

i had to cheat and download it using my pc and then sent it to my phone using dropbox.

 

Can't get that to work for me. I don't see entune in the apple App Store.

 

The apk file won't download. Can you try to post it again please?

Geoff, sorry. I tried downloading the file myself and that worked. But then I tried loading it on another phone and although it accepted it and installed, the app wouldn't run. Since I couldn't get it to install and run correctly, I deleted the post so others wouldn't have the same problem. I'll experiment with it further and if I can get it to work reliably I'll re-post it. Sorry for the problem. - Mark
