It is amazing that the truck has that many miles so quickly. Also...this thread was started a year ago!

What I would like to know is the cost of all of those repairs????

Good work man. Take care of something and it'll last forever. My grandfather sold his 89 4x4 pickup with the 22RE motor and 5 speed with 467k on the clock, still running like a champ! He owned it since day one, kept up on maintenance but it was his work truck and my God did he beat the hell out of it. Land surveyor, bouncing through woods and deep mud. He had a small body lift and 33's on it, nothing else. That truck was the sole reason I bought my taco. Same exact set up as his, to the color. Black 4 cyl 5 speed 4x4, I hope mine is as epic as his and yours. Before my Taco I owned an Acura, sold it with 288k on the clock still running like a champ and the car was bone stock everything except battery, brakes and tires.

Holy crap where do you go to rack up that many miles? I would love to see that on my odo some day but I would need to do some serious driving.

Dang! I just saw this thread and had to take a look. Way to take care of your truck. The paint from the picture I saw looks great. Unbelievable. I hope mine will go this long

He has covered that a few times before, but it equates to all over the dang place for recreational purposes! He drives very little for work.

Looking at the repairs listed, I have a Ford Explorer as a daily driver with just over 100k miles now and the repair list is about twice as long, maybe 3x. (Company vehicle so they pay for it )

    That's awesome OP.

Unless your 2006 is showing some signs of major trouble, you might save yourself some trouble by buying a 2017 after some of the initial bugs are worked out of the brand new model.
