It seems like my 07 has some sluggish throttle problems. I have to give it quite a bit of gas to get it going. Once you do the truck goes pretty good and is pretty damn quick. Its when youre cruising and you need to speed up just a little it seems you need to put the pedal down a little more that i should have to.I had the throttle body cleaned but that didnt help. Is this normal for the tacos? Thanks guys!

When have the plugs been replaced?
When have u cleaned the maf sensor?
    Any check engine lights?
Ever ran a crappy tank of gas thru the truck?
    Any issues starting?
What modifications have u done to the truck?...... intake, filters, "chips", exhaust?

    Do u smell rotten eggs?

And I'd say no, Thats not normal...... These trucks are quite capable of moving and can get a decent 0-60.

Spark plugs were changed about 20k ago but Im going to replace them again anyways. I run 89 and sometimes 93. No mods except taking the secondary air filter out. I havent cleaned the maf sensor yet.

0-60 does great! Im saying when Im cruising and I need to speed up a bit, it seems like I have to give it more gas than other cars I have driven in the past. I have had 18 cars and this has the worst throttle feel. Maybe I just need to do the tranny flush and it will kick it into gear.

What does the rotten eggs/sulfur smell mean?

Just wondering if maybe he's got a dead cat.... Could lead to sluggish performance, lower mpg, and iirc smells of rotten eggs.

Hmm, because sometimes if I get on the throttle it will smell of sulfur a tiny bit, but this one time it was pretty bad

Well I am getting pretty shitty mpg. Right at 15 mpg these past several months. Hopefully its not a cat, they look like they would be a pain in the ass and expensive to do.
