Ok so now that Im about to get my taxes back its time to upgrade my truck. I have a 4x4 dcsb and want to lift right at two inches and level it without messing with uca's. So Im thinking going the 5100 route. So Im going to go with eibachs or ome as well. Whats the better coil to go with? Also to get that height what settings do I need on them? And how big of a 16in tire can i go? Thanks guys!

Others I am sure will chime in with their personal experience. OME will cost more, and probably lift higher than 2" thus requiring new UCA's at some point.

From my research, 5100, Eibach & AAL will get the job done.

Toytec has a kit for like $700 I think. Maybe even less.

I have searched quite a bit actually, but it always ends up people getting off subject and not really any definite answers. I want to go with a full kit but it is just gets into a lot of money quick, which I dont mind but wife does:rolleyes: Thanks for the links though. I will read them a little more thoroughly and hopefully get some more details

Eibach will give you 1.6" alone then you can adjust the billies to .85 to total 2.45", but you might not be able to get your alignment correct w/out uca's. Or set billies at 1.75" and leave stock springs and uca's on and be done. Not sure about 16's as I dont run that size.

i would just buy the shocks and set them at 1.75 with stock springs so it will cut the cost, and for tires you can fit 265-75-16 under a stock truck and would be the biggest you can fit with only a 2 inch lift with out cutting. If you are O.K. with cutting them you can run 285-75-16 which is a 33 or a 255-85-16 that is also a 33 but tall and skinny.

I have ome 884s on 5100s @ 0" on my access cab. on a double cab you may be able to get away with 885s before you need uca's.

I would call wheelersoffroad. they helped me decide. very helpful, along with all the peeps on this forum

If you just want to level go w/ billies set at 1.75 w/ stock coils. you will fit 265/70/16

I went with OME 885x with 5100's at 0 and a 2" AAL. Got about 2.5" upfront on 2013 DCLB. No issues for me. It rides great.

    You can fit 265/75/16s.

Eibach will get you 1.6 inches, 2.5(ish) set at .85
OME 884s will get you two inches and you don't have to preload the coils.

Tons of info in the suspension forum. You may or may not need uca's for proper alignment. Some trucks do and some don't. Seems kind of hit or miss.

I have the exact set up that you are looking for. I also have access to free alignment whenever I want(not bragging). My point is, I put UCA's on and the ride, alignment and overall feel for the handling of my truck is much better.

As I have read on here multiple time, if you are going to do it, do it right the first time.

To do over again, I would have just spent the money on a full OME kit with LR or TC UCA's.

I went with the 5100's W/ Eibach springs & 1/2 spacer for the full 3 in. lift. I added a 2 in. AAL in the rear. Also installed SPC UCA's. My tires are 265/75/16. The ride is awesome.

I installed the Billie 5100's w/Eibach spring at .85 and Taco lean spacer on D side. Also did the Deaver 1.5 AAL w/ 5100's in the rear. Increased lift by 2.5", alignment all within factory specs w/out UCA's. Ride is much better than the TRD Sport suspension.

I wouldn't say level, I still have a slight rake. I also have the TSB, 4 leafs and the overload leaf for a total of 5. Hope that helps. Cheers

OME 884s, Bilstein 5100 Shocks, Icon 3 leaf progressive AAL (with overload in), Rear leaf TSB, ImMrYo mirror relocater, ARE Z series cap, Hi Lift jack W/ DIY mount, trimmed Mud Flaps, Devil Horns by Andres, EGR In-Channel rain guards, LED bed lights, Weather Techs
For 2'' in the front, do 884s with either 5100s set @ 0, or better yet (but more expensive) the OME 90000 sport shocks, and the OME trim spacer (to correct taco lean).
The rear could be an AAL, or ICON/Wheelers HD progressive pack, paired with the 5100s or OME Nitrocharger shocks.
