My 2007 2.7L single cab prerunner 5speed seems to have started leaking from the timing cover or tc area. it runs down from the right side right behind the alternator where indeed the cover is located and finds its way down to the pan and back. scrolled a little ways down couldn't find anything relative so figured i would just ask my self. has this been a re occurrence? could this be still covered under warranty? 7 yrs, 20k? siiiigh...

Very well could be the valve cover. The 7 years kicks out the power train warranty that is only 6 years long.

I gave it a pretty in depth look and it does not look like its a valve cover leak but im not 100% on that. Thanks for the confirmation on the warranty expiration.
