After waiting for several months and having a couple of dealerships tell me they could not even get the baja series, my dealership came through for me. The debate whether to buy or wait was initially hard for me once I saw the TRD Pro pics from Chicago. That said, I have zero buyers remorse for pulling the trigger now instead of later.

For those curious enough, I decided on the baja for a few reasons that make sense to me. Wheels (can't buy them), tire size (preferred over the 75's), and being the baja (branding I know, but who cares if I'm happy). Also, if you notice they did remove that HUGE sticker on the side for the 2014 model which made me very happy.

Little things do it for each one of us when it comes to buying a vehicle or choosing between two. There is always a trade off, but at the end of the day we do what we think is right for us and if we're lucky, we win.

Today I won... and am now a part of the club )

Note: Thanks again to everyone on here for voicing your thoughts and opinions. It helped...

Nice! Idk why some people dislike the Baja sometimes, I personally like it.

Awesome truck man, the black with the more subdued Baja sticker looks great.

What tire size did it come with? You said you preferred it over the 75s?

You should be pleased with it. The suspension handles washboards really well at high speeds either uphill or downhill, highspeed dips also. Very surefooted. Smooth. It's a high speed offroad suspension, tuned well for our trucks.

Nice Baja. I have a Barcelona Red 2013 DCSB Baja, bought it last June. Really like it but would rather have the black over the red but it was the only one anywhere near my region. Really wanted a 6 speed too but glad I didn't after reading all the bad things about it.

Sweet truck man! Too bad Toyota is changing its name to TRD pro instead of keeping the Baja package with a few updates.

Nice one man! But I'm also being biase about it lol. They started the large decal removal on the 2013's. Some came with it and some didn't.

I like the Baja edition very practical and looks bad ass. How are the tires it comes with? I really like the look of that tire.

They came with the 70's which are a tad smaller, but for my personal taste I think they look better. Maybe down the line I'll swap, but I don't see that happening :)

    Heya cheeseit,
Coming from someone without much experience I think they ride and feel great. The only comparison I really have though is with my old BMW 335i. I prefer the ride over that for sure. It corners well and rebounds really fast for those bigger bumps. The noise level is really not an issue especially if you consider the cat exhaust which probably makes a little more.

I'll probably update again in a few weeks to see if there is anything else that stands out. For me the baja sits higher than the pics make it look. I love the height and from a center of gravity for me, I would not want to go much if any higher.

    So far so good though...

True, but for me its a good selling point. Last of the baja series possibly. Add to that that for now anyway the gunmetal wheel sets are not available to anyone but baja owners. That could change, but I like them much better with the black truck versus the black ones :D
