So I'm vacationing in socal right now and I've never seen so many Tacoma's. The dbl cab is the most popular. What gives? You never see this many in any other state. Ohio for example has a total of 5 Tacoma's :D

I was amazed at the Tacos in the islands. And I'm from Cali. Been to the big 4 islands (Oahu, Maui, Big Isle, Kauai) and never in my life have I seen so many Tacomas, let alone lifted ones. I'm not a big fan of their stereotypical choice of wheels. Some of em stuck out so far I think they had negative backspacing  For my own selfish sake, I'm glad I don't see many of those wheel/lift combos here.

Since I lifted my truck, I notice lots of people checkin it out. Cali likes tacos :D

None at this time and that's just what I wanted a stock used truck to start with
There is a lot of them but not a lot of them for sale I found that out over the last several months looking for one. I guess that's a good thing

In Northern California, these trucks are as ubiquitous as birds in the sky. I would spend all day counting them if I tried.

    That's because Tacoma's rock!

Ever since pimping mine out I find a lot of people checking it out. It's even more odd because I am not used to just getting starred at like that.

I have found the highest concentrations on California military bases. I am amazed every time I work on a base. especially air stations, tacos, subis, and bikes. . . .pilots get to have all the fun

One day on my daily travels I thought it would be fun to count how many I saw. I only counted 2nd gen dbl cab, short beds. I stopped at 53 and didnt include the 6 on my street.

Its no wonder toyota wont do a recall on some of its "defects".

I probably see two or three others a day here in OK...I prefer it that way. Although, mines usually the most boring looking.
